STUPID, STUPID, STUPID

Today's post is follow on to the previous post "UGH GLENN DISCOVER FIRE." In that post I was talking about the simplicity of installing a wireless network in my home, and the problem that I was having with getting the scanner to work on my printer/scanner. After e-mailing and calling Brother and US Robotics I have come to find out that many wireless routers are configured to accept a printer however they are not configured to accept a scanner or a multi-role printer because the communications between the computer, the router, and the printer are all one way when using the printer mode. However for an additional $250 I can get a print/fax/ scan server and am stuck with the router that I already have.

Well my stupidity comes from the fact that when I asked the questions about scanning and printing while utilizing the US Robotics router, the associate at Sam's Club that I was talking to said that it would do everything. My misteak on this one; I BELIEVED HIM! To anyone that is questioning, and read the last post. YES! I am beating my head into a wall.
